What Will You Be Doing?
– Perform hands-on testing on web and mobile apps following best practices in software testing strategies
– Review requirements specifications and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback
– Create detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases
– Estimate, prfioritize, plan, and coordinate testing activities
– Perform regression tests on fixed bugs to ensure that the issues have been resolved
– Monitor each phase of SDLC to ensure quality
– Identify, document and clearly communicate issues that occur in both development and production environments through a bug tracking tool
– Validate APIs and identify performance bottlenecks
– Write end-to-end test automated test cases

What Are We Looking For?
– Strong knowledge of Software QA methodologies, tools, and processes
– Experience of using Test Management and Issue Tracking tools
– Understanding of Web Fundamentals and Databases
– Well-versed with testing both mobile and web applications
– Comfortable with writing SQL queries
– Good understanding of one or more programming languages
– Knowledge of javascript would be a plus
– Experience of working with Postman or any other API Testing Tool
– Familiar with Agile development processes
– Comfortable working in multiple sprints
– In-depth understanding of different testing types and debugging procedures
– Experience of working with one or more Automation Testing Tools
– Good knowledge of CI/CD services, preferably Travis or Jenkins
– Experience of using JMeter or any other Performance and Stress Testing tool
– Knowledge of New Relic or any other performance monitoring tool would be a plus
– Passion for learning new systems and technologies with a high degree of ownership
– Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
– Ability to organize tasks and pay attention to detail
– High level of initiative with ability to self-manage
– Outstanding ability to communicate across all levels of management
– Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
– Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Education and Experience
– Bachelors or Masters degree: BS, MS or equivalent
– 3+ years of experience
